A Whole New World

One of my first years at camp, I was super shy and I really struggled talking to people I didn't know. When I got to camp it was like I had entered a whole new world. It took me a few days to find the courage to talk to my counselors and cabin mates but when I did, I made lifelong best friends and family who supported me at camp and still support me through every hardship, and challenge in life and who also celebrate every accomplishment and win I experience. I would not be the confident, joyful, and compassionate person I am today if I had not experience going to Camp Olympia.
